Preggo laziness

I completely embrace the orders from my midwife. But it is SUMMERTIME and that means it is time to be outside and play. I passed on camping this past weekend as the idea of NOT sleeping in my bed and NOT having a comfortable chair was too much. The fourth annual Girls Get High extravaganza is scheduled and I won't be there. Sniff. I look at the people riding their bicycles and am jealous. I miss the sensation of being agile. I waddled about two miles on Sunday, came home and took a nap.

I am trying to embrace the art of lounging

I watched THREE movies this weekend: Return of the Jedi, Say Anything and Snatch. Return is such a childhood classic. You've got this fantastic dynamic between Han and Leia and an epic fight between Darth and Luke. Poo on the 'new' Star Wars. The first three are where its at. While I've seen Say Anything countless times, it still chokes me up. The joy and heartbreak of high school romance. And, Mr Cusack, ya still get me every time with that scene with the damn boombox. I am not sure why I selected Snatch - perhaps it is the INSANE dialogue or Brad Pitt shirtless. Good flick.

The addition of Jello Pudding pops and a fan blowing on me greatly enhanced my movie-viewing experience.

In addition to my movie-watching extravaganza, I sat in a bath and read a book. I caught up on magazines that have been accumulating. I snuggled with the dog.

So maybe I can do this lounging thing. Just don't let me look outside...

Be lazy now! There's no time for it when you have the baby...
