Oh glory day! It is a magnificent, sunny and warm day. By warm, I mean a whopping 45 degrees. This winter has been a beast. The glorious Colorado sunshine that usually makes our winter's bearable, has been missing. Instead, we've had snowstorm after snowstorm plus bitter, cold temperatures. While I still realize we could get another huge snowstorm, this moment of bliss is delightful.This weather coincides nicely with what appears to be a (temporary?) return to sanity. On Monday I not only ended up crying the grocery store, but crying when I was sitting at home reading a preggo book. It was all very bizarre. Thankfully, I slept well on Monday night and the in-laws left so I woke up on Tuesday feeling (mildly) stable. Now, with this weather, I feel GREEAAT. In addition, my Leachco Snoogle Total Body Pillow should arrive any day along with my Belly Bands.
The pillow is a huge full-body pillow that you can wrap around you to support your head and
back and..eventually your belly. As you can tell by the smile on the woman's face, it will mean instant happiness. My happiness will mean nights of truly restful sleep and mornings when I wake up and my back does not ache.The Belly Bands are more along the lines of a Pet Rock invention. Ya know, those inventions that are making someone millions of dollars but if you had really, truly put yourself to a creative test, you could have come up with this product. I am talking about a simple strip of quasi-elastic fabric that you wear around your waist, folks. It allows you to leave your pants gloriously unbuttoned while not a) offending people around you and b) having your pants slide off. For me, it'll mean a slower death for my normal clothes and the sensation that my stomach is only getting bigger, not the rest of me (lies! lies!).
Warm sunshine + retail therapy, ya gotta love it!

I cracked up at the picture of the pillow. Seriously, where will Hubby and the dogs sleep? Also, 100% NO DOUBT on the welcomed return of sunshine! I feel like crying I am so happy to have a sunny, warm day again. Here's hoping it lasts... and that next spring you can have a beer on some patio someplace to celebrate with me.
As I was purchasing, I did think that pillow might create some space issues with the Hubby and dogs. But I am so keen on sleeping well that that was a very brief moment. They / we will figure it out.
Mmmm. Drinking on a warm, sunny day sounds deeelightul. But yes, we could still get slammed with a snowstorm any day still. ARGH!
