Silly Hubby! Boots are for hiking!
The Hubby called me at 8pm last night to inform me that he had climbed a mountain in loafers and an argyle sweater. For those of you know who the Hubby, he loves hiking and is also notoriously late. So when Mr. Idaho quickly organized a moonlight hike up our local ski mountain, Sunlight Mountain, the Hubby was, of course, delayed in getting his act together. Rather than coming home to get appropriate snow hiking gear and, of course, gear to come down the mountain, he got caught up with work. A sane person would have concluded that he/she should not climb the mountain. Yet the Hubby showed up and hiked the dern thing anyways. He climbed up in his loafers and a friend lent him ski poles so he wouldn't slide back down the mountain as much. He also managed to borrow a board and boots that were not only too small for him (the perils of having a size 13 foot), but the stance was set in the opposite direction he rides in. He came home around 10pm - in his loafers and sweaters - with a large triumphant grim. I, of course, just don't get it.

Sounds about par for the course for your Hubbo. When's Moab?
Wow, that is commitment to hiking. I normally make up any excuse to avoid hiking.
